Boots Riley is one of the most exciting directors in Hollywood today. His amazing debut Sorry To Bother You is one of my favorite films of the last few years. It was original and powerful and an engrossing anti-capitalism story. Here we talk about his film, Hollywood, growing up in the Bay Area, his amazing rap group The Coup, and his criticism of Spike Lee’s Black Klansman. Let me know what you think! Instagram @toureshow. Cyntoia Brown got out of prison just a few months ago.
