I am a writer, TV host, podcaster, father, husband, brother, son, and Brooklynite. I am the host of the new television show BingeWorthy and new podcasts Love City and The Touré Show.
I currently write articles for Rolling Stone, the NY Times, the New Yorker, the Washington Post, the Nation, Time, Ebony, Tennis, Vogue, Playboy, Vice, and many others. I wrote Rolling Stone cover stories on Jay, Beyonce, Eminem, Lauryn, Alicia, Snoop, DMX, Adele, and others.
I was a co-host of The Cycle on MSNBC (2012-15). I was also the host of the Hiphop Shop on Fuse (2009-12), the Black Carpet on BET (2006-08), I’ll Try Anything Once on Treasure HD (2008), and Spoke N Heard on MTV2 (2003-04). I was also CNN’s Pop Culture Contributor (2004-06).
I started as an intern at Rolling Stone who got fired but stuck around for another decade and got introduced to the media life. Thanks to all my friends there for helping me start this journey.
